Smart-POS provides canteen managers and school administrators with comprehensive reporting. Reports can be run on individual POS machines or as a consolidated total where multiple POS machines are used. Student sales history is also available in report format on the secure Campus Online web page allowing parents to monitor the spending habits of their children instantly. This touch screen point of sale has an offline mode that can be used in times of network outages, ensuring that your canteen is operational 100% of the time. Once the network is restored, the touch screen POS software will synchronise with the server and upload all the offline sales. Smart-POS utilizes touch screen POS technology providing cashiers with fast sale completion times and quick and easy searches for stock items. It was designed with ease of use in mind so training new staff to use the system is not an issue. If your environment has multiple vendors then no problem! Campus allows for multiple vendors to use the touch screen point of sale system and for individual reporting based on each vendor. Campus does the vendor financial report breakdown for you! Campus Smart-POS coupled with the Campus contactless smart card reader can reduce sale time from up to a minute to just a few seconds. A quick tap of the smart card and the sale is completed. Queues and waiting time are significantly reduced with Smart-POS and Campus Smart Card technology. The Smart-POS system has inbuilt security features to reduce the chance of smart card fraud. When a customer taps the card on the Campus smart card reader, a photograph of the card holder is displayed on the cashier’s POS touch screen. As the Campus card has the holders photo printed on the card, the chance of fraud is greatly reduced. Smart-POS can control any parental daily spending limits as well as restrict purchases of items that a parent has imposed on a student’s card.
