INFORMATION FOR FACULTY. Campus has been specifically designed to provide effective and time saving tools so that you can spend less time on administration tasks and more time teaching.

How do Campus modules help you save time?

Campus Cards

  • Campus Cards help reduce the amount of time you spend dealing with playground antics such as bullying Campus Cards prevent student theft and bullying for money, each card features a photograph of the student, when tapped at the point of sale or a tracking device a photograph of the student is displayed.Campus Cards that are stolen or misplaced can also be suspended so that the funds linked to the card are frozen.
  • Campus Cards reduce queuing time at the school canteen so you have more free time at lunch and school breaks

Online Canteen

  • With Campus you no longer have to:
    • Collect lunch bags from students every morning
    • Count lunch order money
    • Distribute and manage the change form lunch orders
    • Look after student’s who have lost or misplaced their lunch money
  • With Campus you can order and pay for your own lunch online up to one month in advance

School Activities

  • You no longer have to print and handout permission notes for school activities, with the School Activities module you can put up a notice on Campus that parents can access at any time over the Internet.
  • You can log in to Campus and check which parents have granted or denied permission for their children to attend events.
  • With online permission notes, there are no concerns about whether or not a child has forged or altered the response on the permission note.

Hand-POS

  • All you need to take with you to accept off-site school payments is the Campus Hand-POS, you do not need to worry about having change, printing receipts or collecting and carrying money
  • Canteen operators have the security of knowing that if there is a power failure or network outage they can continue to make sales with the Hand-POS

e-Store

  • All items available for sale at the school can be entered into the e-Store so that parents can order and pay for school supplies online, this helps you manage your inventory more economically and means that you do not have to worry about large amounts of cash being kept on the school grounds
  • School fees and payments for School Activities can also be entered into the e-Store so that teachers do not have to worry about collecting the payments from students

Photocopy & Print Management

  • Providing unlimited photocopying and printing services is expensive, with Campus the school can set quotas for free copies and charge students and teachers for any copies that are made above the quota
  • Quota and payment transactions are processed when the Campus card is tapped at the machine, there are no manual tasks required

Kiosks

  • The Campus Kiosk provides an quick and easy alternative to the Internet to check your Campus Card balance when rushing between classes
  • Accepts cash top ups for smartcards
  • Sale of goods from cash or card
  • Can be used for charity collections by cash or card

Attendance Tracking

  • You no longer need to spend time manually checking class attendance. With Campus Attendance Tracking the student taps their Campus Card on the tracking device when they enter and exit the classroom. The student’s name, and the time and location are recorded by Campus
  • Attendance records can be accessed at any time by teachers and school administrators so that the child’s parents can be alerted if they have failed to turn up
  • Attendance away from the school’s grounds can also be recorded on the Hand-POS

Online Account Management

  • You can check your Campus Account balance and load your account quickly and easily online

Campus Back Office

  • Campus Back Office is very easy to use, no technical skills are required and the application is very intuitive
  • Multiple staff members can be given administration rights to manage different areas of Campus so that tasks can be divided among the faculty

Smart-POS

  • Smart-POS is a very stable and user friendly POS system that handles the Campus Smart Card and cash payments in your Canteen. Smart-POS is equipped to handle cash drawers, barcode scanners and printers to enable a powerful POS solution for your school canteen.
  • Smart-POS comes with Offline capability so the transactions can continue at POS in the event of a network outage. All sales can be uploaded once the network is restored and this ensures 100% uptime of the Canteen operation.
  • Smart-POS coupled with Campus cards will drastically reduce queues and cash handling problems at your school canteen.

Shopfront

  • Feature rich inventory management Point of Sale application for uniform, book and stationary shops.
  • Detailed financial reporting of all sales and stock movements.
